LUDLOW COMES ALIVE: 21 - 30 JUNE 2013

Sadly, due to the constant rain from April until December in 2012, the well known Ludlow Festival has been wound up due to lack of funds. However, it is hoped, at a future date, to continue to run the festival, and in the meantime, there is to be a fringe festival, representing many of the arts. Because of this decision, many writers, artists, muscians, actors...  have been invited to take part in this event, and in a small way, I have been included.

Oh how sad! Though I'm happy to hear that there's still an event on - good luck to you and all the other artists!

Hi Carole .. a sign of the times - but that's excellent a fringe festival will keep going. So pleased you're going to be involved, even in a small way ...

Good luck to Ludlow Fringe .. cheers Hilary

Oh, so sad. I also wondered about the Church Fete'--do those still exist?

Thank you, Hilary. Fingers crossed that it will be a success.

Yes they do exist Susan, but mostly in village halls, there are not so many church fetes these days.

I suffer, like most writers, from the 'not good enough' syndrome, but I'll do my best, Talli. :0)

Too bad it was rained out but I'm kind of having a festival and I'd love for you to stop by and visit.

Shall do, Eve.

I hate to hear about festivals being cancelled... There's something fun about knowing there is a festival, even if you don't get to go. Glad to hear you've been included in what they're setting up for the mean time!

Thanks Bonnee, not sure what will happen but hoping my contribution will be a success.:0)
