Having kindly been invited to the blog hop by Joylene Nowell Butler suspense author, I suddenly remembered a poem I had written about the subject of my future novel, Snakeskin and Failed Feathers!
After a bad press
my fall from the garden
led me to try redemption
make up for past failings.
It was years later when
a step-mother with a few
personality problems
asked for a favour.
I wasn't to blame
how was I to know my commercial
blemish-free skin
would poison generations?

Great poem! You've intrigued me.
Wow, you've got a lot of layered stuff in there that really appeals!
How very pleased I am, Christine. x
Thanks, Kitty, I love writing poetry more than prose, but there's no money in it, unless you are Carole Anne Duffy and she is very gifted. :0)
