The winners of my little book competition - Dandy, Megan and Dennis with their prizes during afternoon assembly. It was fun to be back at the school again and lovely to see the children and to be made welcome. Being there always brings back so many memories of my twenty-five years of teaching, and now working as a children's author gives me the opportunity to visit Shropshire schools from time to time. Many thanks to the class teacher Miss. Bethell, to the Headmaster, Mr. Ellis, and to Kathryn Chillingworth who went out of her way to make me feel so welcome.
